“To get nations back on their feet, we must first get down on our knees.” – Billy Graham
James 5:16 reminds that the prayer of a righteous person has great power! And indeed it does. Every great revival in the history of time started with men and women down on their knees pleading for God to move.
We love Washington and long to see the gospel infiltrate every dark corner in the lives of its people. We love Washington and we know that unless the Lord’s people are moved with compassion on a lost and dying generation, sin and brokenness will continue to thrive under the guise of a ‘good life.’
We believe that through prayer and the gospel that hearts can be transformed. We believe that addictions can be broke and freedom can be experienced. We believe that the chase of the American dream can be replaced with a life in Christ for the glory of God.
We believe that marriages can thrive instead survive. We believe that families can find more joy than any sporting or musical event ever could. We believe that our lives carry with us the aroma of Christ and want to leave a legacy with eternal impact. We believe God has a better, more fulfilling plan for the people of Washington and Franklin county.
We are hosting a night of prayer and worship where we can respond to God’s goodness to us in Jesus and plead with Him to restore marriages, unite families, heal brokenness, give freedom to the captive and give people hope.
Would you join us for one hour? On Sunday evening, June 30 at 6pm we will gather to hear the Word, respond in worship and prayer for each other and our community. This may be the best hour you could spend all month… in prayer.
“God shapes the world by prayer. The more praying there is in the world the better the world will be, the mightier the forces against evil.” – Mother Teresa
